Our First Illness

Robert has developed a little lung infection. The doctor doesn’t think it’s RSV but we’re having to take some special care right now since he has been exposed to it. We are now the proud owners of a nebulizer complete with infant dragon mask. He isn’t real fond of it but he does let us put it on him. He did try to give me a little smile tonight while he was using it. He’s also on steroids because his blood oxygen levels were low. Of course, they don’t know if that is an accurate reading or if it was because they were using the adult monitor since they couldn’t find the pediatric monitor — ugh! I hope they’ve found the pediatric one by 10:30am tomorrow when we go back. For the most part he’s still our same happy boy just with a pretty bad cough. He does want to be held a little more and he’s sleeping a lot more but when he’s awake he wants to smile and giggle and talk so I’m hoping in a few days he’ll be back to the old Tank.

Oh… hoping the little man feels better soon. Glad that he is still sleeping well. ¥
