Fairy Tale Village

We decided to go to Crown Center today to claim my $20 gift certificate that I won a few weeks ago on Facebook.  We took the gift certificate and treated ourselves to lunch at Fritz’s.  Robert really thinks he is calling the trains when he uses the table phones.

After lunch we went to the Crayola Store to look around.  Robert loved drawing on the big easels.Crayola Store

Afterwards we went downstairs to play in Fairy Tale Village.  Crown Center is associated with the Hall family and Hallmark is right next door so they are blessed to access to some wonderful artists.  They took their display space and transformed it into life size vignettes from classic Fairy Tales.  Here Robert is making bread at the Little Red Hen’s display.Little Red Hen

It was a lot of fun… until Mommy said it was time to go… bad Mommy!  Hopefully we can go back again before the exhibit closes in April.
